This candle wick dipper is great for extinguishing your lit candles, instead of blowing them out. Did you know that blowing your candles out with your breath is a fire hazard? Lit pieces of the candle wick can fly away and land on flammable objects. Using a wick dipper is a safer bet.
How it works: You use the hook on the wick dipper to push the burning wick into the melted pool of wax. Then you retrieve the wick and bring it back to its upright position in the center of your jar or pillar. The wicks are then coated with wax so that they will burn better the next time you light your candle. The wick dipper measures 6 1/4 inches long.
